Shaker-Style Study in Cholsey

For this project in Cholsey, our clients wanted to create a study that felt both inviting and functional, with a classic Shaker-style design that offered plenty of character and warmth. We worked closely with them to craft a space that balanced elegance and practicality.

The study features stunning oak finishes throughout, including bespoke oak worktops that add a touch of natural beauty and warmth to the space. We also designed a custom bookcase to maximise storage while keeping the room feeling open and airy. The bookcase became a key feature of the room, blending seamlessly with the Shaker-inspired cabinetry.

To enhance the overall design, we incorporated space for a fish tank, thoughtfully integrated into the layout to ensure it became an attractive feature without disrupting the flow of the room.

A new herringbone floor was laid throughout the study, providing a timeless, sophisticated look that complements the oak elements. The new floor adds texture and depth to the space, helping to create a homely yet professional atmosphere.

Finally, we updated the room with new electrics to ensure the study was fully functional, with plenty of power sources for all the necessary equipment.
